Tony Tran began his asphalt career in 2016 and is a founding member‑owner of Blackout Asphalt Maintenance. He brings hands‑on experience in sealcoating, striping, asphalt repairs, and full‑scale paving. After graduating from North Kitsap High School in 2002, Tony studied at Olympic College and later spent eight years commercial fishing in Alaska; during off‑seasons he returned to Kitsap County doing drywall and framing, building a solid construction background. He volunteers as a strength and conditioning coach for at‑risk youth, teaching two simple rules: go to class and stay out of trouble. Tony enjoys fishing, camping, motorcycles, and time with his wife and three daughters. His patient, friendly demeanor and broad industry experience ensure every client has a smooth, professional experience with Blackout Asphalt Maintenance.

Shaydon Childers
Shaydon brings more than 12 years of hands‑on asphalt experience and is a co‑owner of Blackout Asphalt Maintenance. He’s a trusted resource for property managers, contractors, and homeowners, known for reliable service, practical knowledge, and a commitment to honest, results‑driven work. A lifelong local who grew up in Belfair, Shaydon has lived in Kitsap County since 2005 and understands the region’s climate and pavement needs. He focuses on sealcoating, crack and patch repairs, striping, and preventative maintenance, applying local know‑how to every job. Off the clock he’s devoted to family—husband and father to an 8‑year‑old son and 4‑year‑old daughter—and spends free time exploring the PNW outdoors with them. Shaydon’s steady, approachable manner and extensive field experience ensure clients receive clear communication and professional, dependable results from Blackout Asphalt Maintenance.
